As an Library of Congress Patron, I:

• Use different search boxes to find both primary sources within a context and individual items.
• Ask a Librarian questions
• Search American Memory using at least three different strategies
• Use synonyms and subject headings
• Cite items using bibliographic records
• Search Prints and Photographs using the image lists and the catalog
• Find Library of Congress items using a picture clue
• Use Library of Congress bibliographies and Research Centers
• Use the Visitor’s Search Guide

I can use technology to do these things:

• Copy and paste the exact title, image, and/or bibliographic record of a Library of Congress item into a document
• Find, bookmark, copy, and insert the permanent URL of a Library of Congress item into a document
• Save an image
• Resize an item and use draw tools
• Submit Learning Experiences online
